As you might imagine, blogging with a 4 month old (on top of homeschooling 2 other children besides) is a bit of a challenge! If it wasn’t for my Boba Baby Carrier and my Intel Tablet, I just don’t think I would get a through a day.

Sometimes baby won’t stay asleep if I’m sitting still with him, so I have to plop him in the Boba or wrap him and walk around in order to give him a good nap. The exercise is all fine and good, but sometimes I have deadlines to meet, emails to answer and posts to write! That’s where my Intel Tablet saves the day.

I’m absolutely nuts about this tablet. It’s the new Acer Iconia Tab 8 A1-840 FHD 8″ Android tablet running KitKat (4.4). It’s fully loaded with an Intel® AtomTM Z3745 quad-core processor, Intel® HD Graphics (Gen 7), 16 GB of storage and an awesome 1928 x 1200 resolution screen.

I have an awesome WordPress app on my Intel Tablets that makes it easy for me blog either by typing on the touch screen or using the speech to text software included on the tablet. I don’t know how I would possibly be keeping up with blogging if it wasn’t for this tablet.

I feel like I am more productive when I’m using my tablet because it helps me stay on task. You know how it is when you are on a desktop computer or a laptop… You have a bunch of tabs and windows open, several programs, email, and then you hear a facebook notification and your productivity is all over. I don’t let that happen when I’m on my tablet. I ignore everything except for the app I’m currently using so I end up completing tasks quicker and more efficiently. It’s also a lot faster to answer emails on my tablet using speech to text. I can absolutely type fast on a keyboard, but speech to text is just so much more convenient sometimes!

Another app that keeps me organized and productive is Dashlane. It organizes all my passwords, login information and financial information so I can access it from my desktop computer, my laptop, my iPhone or my tablet. Click here to sign up and you’ll get 6 months of free Dashlane Premium (normally $19.99 per year)!

And of course, I have the Zulily app right on the desktop of my tablet because I can’t go a day without checking their new sales out!

Remember that robotic ball I was telling you about a couple week ago? Well they have a TON of Sphero apps for Android!

There are just so many cool things you can do with a tablet. I don’t know how I lived without one…

Do you have a tablet? If so, what are your favorite apps? Do share!
