The Acer Iconia Tab 8 A1-840 FHD is a new 8″ Android tablet running KitKat (4.4). It’s fully loaded with an Intel® AtomTM Z3745 quad-core processor, Intel® HD Graphics (Gen 7), 16 GB of storage and an awesome 1928 x 1200 resolution screen.
This gorgeous device features sleek edges, a lightweight design with a super bright screen touting IPS technology and 16:10 aspect ratio. It’s white face and metallic back make for one great looking device that you won’t want to put down.
Honestly this tablet is so fun and so cool that I feel like I’m somehow being a slacker even when I’m working on it. It doesn’t feel like work! It’s honest to God so easy and enjoyable to use that I forget that I’m working and feel like I’m playing around. Going through my work emails is a breeze with the Gmail app. And don’t even get me started about Chrome… FINALLY a browser that doesn’t crash!
I’m super impressed with Intel Tablets because they are fast as lightning and have a great battery life. I get about 8-12 hours of constant use and a week or more on “standby” with my Iconia Tab 8.
